Submission process

Your project code and design documents belong in your project repository. Keep your design notebook and personal reflections in your private individual repository, as described in the class guide.

For each milestone:

  1. Place the deliverables listed for that milestone in the appropriate repository, written in Markdown where applicable. Include links to the deliverables in the main README. Include sketches and screenshots as images referenced in Markdown, and provide YouTube links to videos.

  2. Make sure your work is committed and pushed by the assignment deadline and save the commit hash for each repository containing required work.

  3. Submit the GitHub repository link and commit hash for each repository containing required work through the corresponding assignment in Commons. Include the deployed app URL and video link when required.

See the guide to submitting a commit hash. Follow the class guide for lateness and extensions.

Grading

Your work in this class will be evaluated by its quality, not its quantity. Your grade for each milestone will be a competency level for each skill assessed at that milestone. The levels are:

  • Deficient. You did not demonstrate the skill.

  • Emergent. You demonstrated the skill in part, but were missing some critical aspects.

  • Competent. You demonstrated the skill in all aspects.

  • Expert. You applied the skill with the insight and creativity that distinguishes an expert from a routine practitioner.

Use the problem framing, technical writing, and reflective practice rubrics, along with the project rubrics below.
